Sketchy Doodle Flowers 1

I just received the Sketchy Doodle Flowers -stamp sheet, and decided that joining in the Chocolate Baroque colour challenge would be a great way to get acquainted with the stamps. Working with the silhouette landscape I have three cards on the way... this ended up the simplest to put together. I am also posting for the SimonSaysStamp Monday challenge (Anything goes).

I coloured the image with Distress Markers and spritzed with water before stamping. The orange of the challenge colours was in the seed pods and kind of disappeared into the stronger rusty reds... but I find this quite elegant in all its' simplicity.

I embellished the envelope using a leafy sprig from the same stamp set, colouring it with Distress markers and spritzing with water before stamping. The image is quite well defined, because the stamp was less solid than the silhouette on the card.

  1. This is amazing! I LOVE the way the stamping turned out and the color palette is really gorgeous. The water-spritzing technique you used on the stamps really worked beautifully here. Thank you so much for sharing these lovely creations with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
